Madame Bovary: Provincial Manners by Gustave Flaubert, reviewed by The Atlantic Monthly

Well here we go people. I have found a pretty good review of our mow resent book choice (sorry for missing last months). Just as a warning: there are some major spoilers in this article so if you don't want to know what happens then I would wait until you have finished the book. One thing that this article brings up is whether or not some (if not all) novels should be read in their native languages.

It might be cool to read the book and look out for odd phrasing or other clues to how parts of the book reveal some translation loss.
